T was working on her laptop on the couch this afternoon and Walli curled up next to her and fell asleep. About an hour later Sonja wanted some of T's attention too and plopped down right in front of Walli. The two ended up falling asleep side by side...too cute!

Sleepy kitties!

The kitties received their belated Christmas present yesterday...a kitty tree. This crazy playland is chock full of feline fun! 5 scratching posts, a house, 2 sleeping platforms, a ladder, etc. In addition to that, my folks stopped by to see Sonja and Walli for the first time and brought a bag chock full of goodies for them. These cats are going to be spoiled!

I left to work and hour and a half ago and Walli was asleep on T's lap. I just received the below picture messages a minute ago. Looks like we have a sleeper on our hands. Apparently Sonja thinks she's the little princess and is all sprawled out on the couch. Ah the life of a cat!

Night one is in the books! Both kitties ate dinner, used their litter boxes, and when I woke this morning nothing was destroyed.

Sonja and Walli came home tonight. Sonja is fearless and immediately started exploring the house and playing with her new toys. Walli was a bit frightened and it took him some time to get comfortable enough to leave the guest bedroom upstairs and make his way around the place.

Sonja and Walli are still at the animal shelter. They'll be coming home with us for good on December 28th!
